Captain America is a fictional superhero showing in American comic catalogs published by Marvel Comics. Created by cartoonists Joe Jack and Simon Kirby, the character first made an appearance in Captain America Comics #1 (cover dated March 1941) from Timely Comics, a forerunner of Marvel Comics. Captain America was designed as a patriotic supersoldier who often fought the Axis powers of World Warfare II and was Timely Comics' most popular figure through the wartime period. The popularity of superheroes waned following the warfare and the Captain America comic book was discontinued in 1950, with a short-lived revival in 1953. Since Marvel Comics revived the character in 1964, Captain America has continued to be in publication. .
Captain America would wear a halloween costume that bears an American flag motif, and is armed with a nearly indestructible shield that hethrows at foes. The character is usually depicted as the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a frail young man enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum to aid america government's efforts in World War II. Near the last end of the battle, he was caught in ice and survived in suspended animation until he was revived in the present day. Although Captain America often battles to keep his ideals as a man out of his time with its modern realities, he remains a highly respected amount in his community which include becoming the long-time head of the Avengers. .

Captain America was the first Marvel Comics figure to have appeared in marketing outside comics with the release of the 1944movie serial, Captain America. Since then, the character has been featured in other television and films series, recently in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) portrayed by Chris Evans in Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War and the forthcoming Avengers: Infinity War(2018) and its own untitled sequel (2019).

WEAPON :Captain America has used multiple shields throughout his history, the most common of which is a nigh-indestructible disc-shaped shield made from an experimental alloy of metal and the fictional vibranium. The shield was cast by American metallurgist Dr. Myron MacLain, who was contracted by the U.S. government, from requests of Chief executive Franklin D. Roosevelt, to create an impenetrable element to work with for tanks during World Conflict II. This alloy was created by accident rather than duplicated, although attempts to reverse-engineer it led to the discovery of adamantium. .

When without his brand shield, Captain America sometimes uses other shields created from less durable metals such as material, or perhaps a photonic energy shield made to mimic a vibranium matrix. Rogers, having relinquished his regular shield to Barnes, carried a variant of the energy shield which is often used with either arm, and used to either block attacks or as an improvised offensive weapon in a position to cut through metal with relative ease. Captain America's standard is constructed of a fire-retardant material, and he would wear a light and portable, bulletproof duralumin size armor beneath his uniform for added safeguard. Originally, Rogers' mask was a separate piece of material, but an early engagement had it dislodged, almost revealing his identification thus. To avoid a recurrence of the problem, Rogers modified the mask with connecting material to his uniform, an extra benefit of that was extending his armor for his previously exposed neck. As the known member of the Avengers, Rogers comes with an Avengers priority greeting card, which serves as a communications device. .

Captain America has used a custom customized motorcycle, revised by the S.H.I.E.L.D. weaponry laboratory, and a custom-built battle truck, produced by the WakandaDesign Group with the ability to change its color for disguise purposes (red, white and blue), and fitted to store and conceal the custom motorbike in its rear end section with a shape which allows Rogers to launch from the vehicle riding it. .
