Captain America is a fictional superhero showing in American comic catalogs posted by Marvel Comics. Created by cartoonists Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, the character first came out in Captain America Comics #1 (cover dated March 1941) from Timely Comics, a predecessor of Marvel Comics. Captain America was designed as a patriotic supersoldier who often fought the Axis capabilities of World Battle II and was Timely Comics' most popular identity through the wartime period. The attractiveness of superheroes waned following pugilative battle and the Captain America comic reserve was discontinued in 1950, with a short-lived revival in 1953. Since Marvel Comics revived the type in 1964, Captain America has continued to be in publication. .
Captain America wears a halloween costume that bears an American flag theme, and is armed with a nearly indestructible shield that hethrows at foes. The character is usually depicted as the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a frail son increased to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum to aid the United States government's efforts in World War II. Near the last end of the battle, he was caught in glaciers and survived in suspended animation until he was revived in today's day. Although Captain America often struggles to keep his ideals as a man out of his time using its modern realities, he remains a highly respected shape in his community which includes becoming the long-time head of the Avengers. .

WEAPON :Captain America has used multiple shields throughout his record, the most prevalent of which is a nigh-indestructible disc-shaped shield created from an experimental alloy of steel and the imaginary vibranium. The shield was cast by American metallurgist Dr. Myron MacLain, who was simply contracted by the U.S. administration, from requests of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, to set-up an impenetrable element to use for tanks during World Warfare II. This alloy was created by accident rather than duplicated, although work to reverse-engineer it resulted in the finding of adamantium. .
Captain America often uses his shield as an offensive throwing weapon. The first instance of Captain America's trademark ricocheting shield-toss occurs in Stan Lee's first comics writing, the two-page text story "Captain America Foils the Traitor's Revenge" in Captain America Comics #3 (May 1941). The legacy of the shield among other comics personas includes the time-traveling mutant superheroCable informing Captain America that his shield still is present in one of the possible futures; Cable connection bears it into struggle and brandishes it as symbolic. .

When without his trademark shield, Captain America sometimes uses other shields made from less durable metals such as metallic, or a photonic energy shield designed to imitate a vibranium matrix even. Rogers, having relinquished his regular shield to Barnes, carried a variant of the power shield which is often used with either arm, and used to either block attacks or as an improvised offensive weapon in a position to cut through metal with relative ease. Much like his Vibranium shield, the power shield can be tossed, including ricocheting off multiple areas and time for his hand. .
Captain America's even is made of a fire-retardant material, and he wears a compact, bulletproof duralumin range shield beneath his standard for added protection. Originally, Rogers' cover up was another piece of materials, but an early engagement acquired it dislodged, almost exposing his personality thus. To avoid a recurrence of the problem, Rogers modified the mask with connecting material to his uniform, an extra benefit of which was extending his armor to hide his previously exposed neck. Like a known member of the Avengers, Rogers comes with an Avengers priority greeting card, which will serve as a communications device. .
